- A software-defined, virtualized constellation of telescopes.
- A Cloud. In Space. A Nebula.
The Nebula OS:
- A distributed, container-based , architecture, supporting:
- A **networked fleet of CubeSats**, each running containers in orbit
- An in-space , Kubernetes-like system** for orchestrating payloads and tasks
- A resilient design: multiple CPUs per unit enabling :
-- Kubernetes managed , Classic CI/CD A/B capabilities
-- The legendary NASA "if the unexpected occurs' : fail to B
- From inception this whole operation will be built with all the assumptions
and capabilities inherent in modern agile (real agile) , dev/ops (with testing
stages). CI/CD, and the theoretical possibility to compile and push out all
the way to production.
- Current plans are to push cloud technology (i.e. Azure, AWS, GCP) out to the point where it envelopes the constellation (i.e. 'the edge). This allows us to inherit the given cloud's, security, policies, run-time scaling, telemetry etc.
- Delete! Delete! Delete!
- Virtualize! Virtualize! Virtualize!

- PERFECTION is the enemy of BETTER
